paleo resources i have collected so far
After writing about being paleo for thirty days yesterday, I had a lot of you comment, tweet & email me asking what sources I used to help me become paleo. I must admit - I am still giggling to myself a bit that I forgot those in that post! They're my favorite part!
Here are a few of my favorite sources and a great place for you to start becoming paleo/educating yourself on paleo:

Favorite books
+Paleoista by Nell Stephenson - This is the very first book I read about the paleo diet and I absolutely love it. Nell describes the Paleo diet candidly - she breaks down exactly why paleos eat the way they do with a little bit of food science and then takes you through a step-by-step process to make your life completely paleo. She gives you recipes, shopping lists & cooking tips - it's a paleo beginner's dream!
+Everyday Paleo by Sarah Fragoso - After reading about this book throughout the internet, I finally got a chance to pick it up after a long wait at my library (that's how popular it is!). While a lot of the same information from Paleoista is covered in this book (though not as well!) this book is great for on-the-go recipes - and look a little more on Sarah's website to get some inspiration on how to train/exercise as a Paleo, especially if you're interested in CrossFit!
Websites
+Paleo Hacks - I'll admit it - I only really began going to Paleo Hacks because it always came up when I googled a paleo question I had. After a while, however, I realized how much people know their stuff on Paleo Hacks. This is a great place to go if you need to ask or want an answer to a question. Chances are you're not the only one who wanted to know if eating bacon five times a week is still paleo! :)
+Pinterest - Duh. If it isn't already, Pinterest should be one of the first places you go when you need to find recipe inspiration.
A few fun boards:
+Paleo Plan - An all-around great site that covers both the basics of paleo-eating and the basic (and not-so-basic!) recipes you'll need along with giving you a great shopping list, meal plans, resources, and even the option for coaching if you need it! I love going to this site when I get bored with a meal (especially breakfast - one can only eat eggs & bacon for so long!) and want to change it up a bit!
Bloggers
+The Paleo Project - I go to Jenna's blog on a daily basis - and not just to read about her amazing life! If I haven't given you enough links to recipes yet, Jenna has even more fun ones (with my favorite being her Asparagus Stuffed Pork Tenderloin - mmm!). Jenna has also done cross-fit and is always answering reader's questions - so she may be an even better source than me if you have any questions!
+Nom Nom Paleo - Michelle is the cutest Paleo blogger in the world. She posts every day what she ate, explains how she made it and why it's paleo. It's like a step-by-step guide of what you should eat :) There are always great new recipe ideas and resources galore!
If you have any questions about eating paleo, need some support or just need a shoulder or lean on or an ear to listen about any any paleo problems or successes you have had, please let me know! I am always here to talk!
